Remembrance day

Remembrance day is a time to reflect and be thankful for all our veterans and troops, past and present. The tremendous gift of freedom they have fought for our country. So often I realize I take my freedom for granted, but there are those world wide whom do not share this privilege. The scars of war are deep with death or wounds both physical and emotional. Families give sacrificially as well to our freedom. We need to recognize the tremendous sacrifices and honor them today. Today I pray for peace and healing. Words seem inadequate. Silence is called for.
